In drinking your daily dose of coffee pls do in mind that moderation is a key to everything.
Caffeine is a drug that has been widely used for centuries. Its main
effect is that it is a mild stimulant of the central nervous system (CNS), helping to reduce feelings of drowsiness and fatigue. However, regular use may lead to "habituation"; that is, no net benefit from use but, rather, a negative effect if the drug is not taken.
Though there is a study conducted that Coffee may counteract alcohol’s poisonous effects on the liver and help prevent cirrhosis - Chicago, researchers say.
In a study of more than 125,000 people, one cup of coffee per day cut the risk of alcoholic cirrhosis by 20 percent. Four cups per day reduced the risk by 80 percent. The coffee effect held true for women and men of various ethnic backgrounds.

It is unclear whether it is the caffeine or some other ingredient in coffee that provides the protection, said study co-author Dr. Arthur Klatsky of the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research in Oakland, Calif.

costume party

It was a joyous evening as we celebrate our high school batch Christmas Party. It's a sort of a reunion coupled with artisitic ideas of costumes and styles. We also had exchanging of gifts. The rule is that, the gift should be something important to you and it has been a part of you for a long time or, it has a sentimental value. But the highlight of the program really was the showcase of costumes wherein all of us experienced the "fashion walk." Some dropped a bomb by doing some daring pose while some extended their arena and did the ridiculous one. Fortunately, we captured those moments through the aid of digital cameras.(hehe)
